--- title: Share a Trading Day With Your Mentor as a Link | ohYaaa description: 'A single day of your journal can be sent as a read-only link: trades, notes, screenshots and tags, in one place, revocable any time.' url: https://www.ohyaatradingjournal.com/blog/share-a-trading-day-with-your-mentor type: blog-post last_updated: '2026-10-14' --- # Share a Trading Day With Your Mentor Without Sending Screenshots By Hunter, Founder of ohYaaa · October 13, 2026 · Mentorship In short Any day in ohYaaa can be shared as a read-only link with that day's trades, screenshots, notes and the tags used. No account is needed to view it and you can revoke it at any time. Getting feedback on a trading day is harder than it should be. You screenshot the chart, paste the P&L, try to remember what you were thinking, and write a paragraph. By the time your mentor sees it, the context is gone, and the review is about whatever survived the copy and paste. The context is in your journal already. What is missing is a way to hand over one day of it without handing over the account. ## What a shared day contains In ohYaaa, any day in your [Calendar](/calendar) can be shared as a link. Whoever opens it sees that single day, read-only: - the trades from that day, with their entry and exit details - the screenshots attached to those trades - the daily notes for the day, with their time stamps - the setups and mistakes used by those trades (only those, not your whole list) It does not expose your other days, your account balance history, your goals, or your settings. The link is generated randomly, the data is fetched on the server for that date only, and the person opening it does not need an account. ## You stay in control Each shared day can be revoked. After you revoke it, the link stops working: whoever opens it sees that it has been revoked. Share the days you want reviewed, revoke them when the review is done. ## Making a day worth reviewing The link is only as good as the day behind it. Three habits turn a day into something a mentor can actually work with: 1. **Write notes as you go.** Time-stamped notes show how your thinking moved: "9:42 AM — taking the second add, don't love it". That is the part a mentor cannot get from the chart. 2. **Tag honestly.** A trade tagged as a mistake is a conversation starter. An untagged one is a mystery. 3. **Attach the chart.** A screenshot at entry, not at the end. ## If your mentor is on ohYaaa Sharing a day is the lightweight option, for a one-off review or someone who is not on the platform. If your mentor uses the built-in [mentorship system](/mentorship), they can see your trades directly and leave comments on individual trades, set assignments, and run check-ins. Start with a shared day; move to the connected route if the relationship becomes regular. Pick the one day this month you are least comfortable showing. That is probably the one worth sharing. ## Frequently asked questions ### What does a shared day show? That one day: its trades, their screenshots, the day's notes, and only the setups and mistakes those trades used. ### Can I take a shared link back? Yes. Revoke the day and the link stops working. ## Keep reading - [Guard Windows: How to Stay Out of the Way of FOMC, CPI and NFP](/blog/guard-windows-fomc-cpi-nfp) - [Build a Pre-Market Briefing From the Traders You Already Follow](/blog/pre-market-briefing-from-traders-you-follow) - [How to Journal a Trade With Multiple Entries and Exits](/blog/journal-scaling-in-and-out) [← Back to Blog](/blog) ## Start your trading journal today [Create Your Journal — Free](/app) Free forever.
